Gradual expansion of network and portfolio led it to clinch its biggest challenge yet in 2015 – the transplanting of eight mature rain trees as part of Empress Place & Esplanade Park redevelopment. The project marked the heaviest tree lifting work ever done in Singapore, with each tree weighing ~80-90 tonnes and was noted for its technical challenge of tree manoeuvring within confined spaces. The project was featured in several local newspapers and helped propel the ASA brand in the market.
The following year, ASA secured an arboriculture maintenance contract with the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Singapore Botanic Gardens which allowed ASA to firmly establish its in-house arboriculture maintenance teams.
Beyond Singapore, ASA has performed tree pruning works, transplanting consultancy and more through project invitations to other parts of Asia.
ASA continues to grow and adapt to the changing world – seeking to adhere to the highest international standards and adopt technology-driven innovation to provide up-to-date, efficient and effective urban tree and landscape management.
