This was an exceptionally demanding and technical job done over 3 days of blazing hot cloudless days, memorable to all staff who had participated.
It involves the removal of a 40m tall dead tree with far extending branches above building structures. The fact that the tree had been dead for some time posed such high risk that significant decay may have set in at any one part of the tree and risk snapping/breaking during operation.
Limited accessibility and risk of structure damages meant that every piece of cut branch had to be carefully rigged down by the team.
