Under this project, Tree lightning protection systems (LPS) are implemented on trees island wide which are deemed risky of lightning damage and of protection value.
The LPS provides a preferred path to ground for the lightning strike currents and in so doing, effectively reduces the risk of damage to struck trees, damages to adjacent trees and structures from side flash, and potential property damage and/or personal injury.
